## What this site is

I Want AI To is for one kind of person: you want AI to build you something, a website, an app, a game, a chatbot or a shop, and you've never put anything online before.

So we show you. One build per page, start to finish, with nothing tidied up afterwards. The prompts are there, the results are there, and so are the mistakes.

Why bother? Because most "AI built my app" posts show you the shiny end and skip the middle. You can't copy a shiny end. You can copy a list of prompts.

The businesses and people in those prompts are made up, and each page says so.

## How every page is made

A build page has the same parts, in the same order:

1. The free accounts it needs, set up once in your browser (the [set-up page](/start/) has the details).
2. The exact plain-English prompts we typed into Claude, in order, in one conversation.
3. Screenshots of what those prompts really produced.
4. The files Claude wrote, unedited.
5. The tests we ran on them on our own machine.
6. A list of what Claude got wrong.
7. How to put the result online with no terminal: the files go into a free GitHub repository, and Cloudflare's free plan publishes every change to it by itself. On the Free plan you upload Claude's files to GitHub in your browser; on Claude Pro, Claude Code on the web saves its changes to GitHub for you. Your own domain is optional. The command-line route is kept in a collapsed section for developers.

Then there are the rules, and we don't bend them.

We never edit Claude's files by hand. If something was wrong, we either sent a follow-up prompt (it shows up as a step you can see and copy) or we listed it under "what it got wrong". Those are the only two options.

Every page names the model and the date of the run, and links the full transcript. If the prompts change, the build gets re-run. No quiet patching of an old result.

Cloudflare, GitHub and Claude limits and prices are quoted from their own documentation, with a link and the date we read it. Those things change, so the date matters.

The unedited files will be hosted at demo.iwantaito.com. Until then, pages show screenshots from our local run, and they say so.

The connecting prose on each page is drafted with ScriptGrain (ours) from a voice profile of my own writing, using only the facts from the run, then edited and fact-checked against the transcript and the tests before it goes up.

## Who writes it

I'm Jack Stovell, founder of Adapt Progress Evolve. The site is published by Adapt Progress Evolve Limited (company number 10047328), a UK studio.

The studio also makes products, and some pages link to them. Every one of those links is marked "ours", so you always know when you're being pointed at something we make rather than something we just used. I'd rather say that up front than have you work it out halfway down a page.

## Contact

Questions, corrections, or a build you'd like to see us try: [hello@iwantaito.com](mailto:hello@iwantaito.com).

If we've got something wrong, tell us. We'd rather list it than leave it.
